This year's regatta was once again a huge success. We had 11 Lagoon catamarans competing and participants from Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Poland, New Zealand, the UK and 3 whole crews of Ukrainians.
Great races and food, excellent company and fair play, all contributed to the excellent atmosphere, with many laughs and parties.

With a bit of a rough start on Friday from Split to Maslinica and no possibility for a first race, even the strong jugo could not stop the sturdy, stable and comfortable Lagoon catamarans to making it safely to Martinis Marchi. After all, a tasty dinner and a party were waiting for the participants so there was no stopping them. The next day turned out far less windy but with loads of sunshine and the first two races were held successfully. Toto's in Palmizana was the next stop for recess with local delicacies, wine and party. The final racing day took us to Peljesac peninsula and Trpanj in two more races with some funny events that involved Mustra I, the Lagoon 450 and a buoy, exchanging cakes and wine between boats...
Fresh oysters and wine greeted all the participants on the Trpanj waterfront which was a great introduction for the awards' ceremony and prize giving.

A magnificent fireworks in honor of all the winners and participants marked the end of the awards' ceremony and the lantern launching was a terrific closing of the official part of the sixth edition of the Adriatic Lagoon Regatta. Sushi, prosciutto, goulash, cuttlefish and broad beans and grilled swordfish were perfectly matched by local wines and dancing moves long into the night.
Labour day - 1st May was relaxing with SUP and kayak testings provided by Surf Shop from Zagreb and optional wine tasting in the nearby Matusko winery. After lunch, some crews decided to call it a day and leave for Split, others decided to kick back and start early on Tuesday 2nd May.

Once again, we would like to thank all participants and our sponsors for their support. See you next year!
